Especially when you take the ?à la carte ?-programmee, because in the morning you stay at the course centre and in the afternoon we take care of all transportation. People who chose for the ?intensive?-course or the ?commercial?-course might find having a car handy. This way, they are free to go on short trips in the early afternoon before their classes start again. However, mountainbike are at your disposal at the course-centre. In addition, we offer a regular bustransfer to the lake or the neighbouring village. On the free Sunday, a car might come in handy as well. However, there are usually some people in the group who dispose of a car and who are willing to take along a passenger. The course centre itself is surrounded by very extended grounds where you can wander or cycle around, enjoying the scenery or just to sunbathe or relax. So, having a car is not a must.

As an average, the ages in the group vary between 25 and 60. You can always contact our booking office, where they?ll be happy to go over the list of participants and give you an idea of the different ages in your group.

|
| Is the intensive course more difficult and more intense than the ?à la carte? course ? Not necessarily. It mainly comes down to a different way of learning French. With the ?à la carte?-course you only have classes in the morning (3 1/2 hours). In the afternoon, after lunch, you leave with the other participants of your group and with the teachers on excursion, for a sports activity or a cultural visit ... During the afternoon, you continue to speak French and your teacher is around to help and correct you. This way, you improve your day-to-day vocabulary in a pleasant but efficient way and we show you the most beautiful spots in the region. With the ?intensive?-course you have two extra hours of French in the afternoon. (5 1/2 hours daily). We often deepen out the subjects we worked on in the morning. This course is for people who learn a language better during structure classes : they concentrate better during lessons, they take notes, they speak a lot, they can ask specific questions on grammer etc....

|
| How can I be sure that the other participants will speak French and not English ? Adults, who take a course with us, are a very motivated public. They share their interest for the French language and for the region. Our teachers are with the group from morning till evening : not only during classes but also during excursions, at the table, during evening activities... they are always around to help you and to see to it that French is spoken in a correct way.

|
| Are your teachers native speakers ? Yes, we work with French teachers who are qualified and experienced in teaching French to foreigners and who know the region well.

| I once learned French at school, a long time ago, but I don?t remember much. Can I participate ? Our courses are NOT for beginners, that is people who are not able to form a simple sentence in French and do not understand a conversation when spoken slowly . However, if you can still express yourself in a simple manner and you are familiar with conjugations of most common verbs, we guarantee you a great progress with our complete immersion-course. In that case, we would suggest you to brush up your existing knowledge of French before the course. On page 4 of our brochure, we describe the three different levels we work with (elementary - intermediate - advanced). The classes are formed according to these three levels and after a test the first morning. If you have any doubts, you can always call our school in France directly to do a test by telephone.

|
| Would I rather come one week or two weeks ? A two-week-stay is the ideal length to have maximum benefit from a
total immersion and this guarantees the best results. Two weeks at
CREA-LANGUES gives you the time to adapt to a new environment to dust
off and deepen your base of the French language. At your very own pace,
you can put in practice all what you learn during the lessons and the
many activities that we offer. You’ll give yourself the time to
assimilate, to understand better and better, to gain fluency and to
enrichen your « capital français » in a durable way.
If you have little time and you need to work on your French
intensively or you wish to put in practice your basics which are
already solid, then one week could do. It ‘ll enable you to freshen up
your passive knowledge , to renew your taste of French and maybe…
to make you feel like coming back to our school for a longer
course.

|
| We would like to come and study French in family. Is that possible in your institute ? It is possible to follow a language course in our school at the

other, in Gréoux-les-bains for yougsters and at Moustiers-Ste-Marie for
adults.
Every year certain dates coincide more or less (see dates and prices youngsters and adults).
If needed lodging can be arranged for a few extra nights Do not hestitate to contact us.
