Since 1984, CREA-LANGUES has been providing adventurous French language holidays for young people ages 12-14 and 15 to 18 in the Provence countryside. Only French is spoken in the "classroom", during activities and at the table.

This kind of "total immersion" works! You will be surprised at how quickly and easily your French improves!

You soon will be able to speak with ease, understand and be understood.

Small groups, an international atmosphere

Teens from all over the world chose CREA-LANGUES for an adventurous learning experience! Our groups are small. They are guided by experienced, multilingual teachers and coaches. Our family atmosphere is casual, homey. By the first evening at our long dinner table, friendships begin and by the last splendid meal, everyone is chatting amicably in French!

In each group we have two or three French teen participants. They will help support your immersion experience.

Professional supervision, official recognition

Your well-being is our priority. Our staff is always available, whether to talk about a personal problem or play a game of basketball. All our sports activities are supervised by experienced professionals. Our lodgings, transportation and staff qualifications are conform to the highest French and European standards.

Adventure, conversation

After the morning atelier, there is plenty to do and see. You'll discover Provence on horseback or while rock climbing or rafting.

Deep sea dive, canoe, surf or sail at your own comfort level, all while speaking French.

Excursions to outdoor markets, visits to artisan workshops, even dancing at a village "bal" - all provide opportunities for you to engage in conversation and experience daily French life.

Breathtaking surroundings

The Provence countryside is known for its exceptional beauty. Fields of lavender and sunflowers, idyllic historic villages and colorful markets provide a stunning setting for learning French.

We are near landmarks sites including the "Parc Naturel du Verdon", and "the Gorges du Verdon" which is France's Grand Canyon. Close-by are the magnificent turquoise lakes, Esparron and Sainte Croix.

We are less than an hour from the lively city of Aix-en-Provence and 90 minutes from the Côte d’Azur, the French Riviera, which we visit on day excursions.

Charming location, modern accommodations

Driving up the long entry to "Le Pavillon d'Aurabelle", our Provence home-base, you will see the magnificent horses of the neighboring equestrian farm. Le Pavillon sits among fields of herbs and acres of walking paths and playing fields. With five or six other participants, you'll share a modern bedroom in our gite or a Nordic wood house situated on our campgrounds. Our facilities are modern, with all comforts. At any hour you can take a refreshing dip in the pool on our stone terrace, where we also hold classes, have pizza parties and special "animation" events.

Gourmet food

Our food is delicious: wood oven-fired pizzas, BBQs, vegetarian fare, healthy salads with locally grown vegetables and fresh fruit, super delicious desserts and tasty snacks. Meals are served at a long wood table on our terrace or in our light-filled dining room. Our kitchen staff scores stratospherically on our evaluation forms!
