MORNING : common programme for all formulae

3h45’ of structured teaching in small groups with fellow students at your own level (3 to 6 per group), including :
  • Various activities and scenarios to enable you to learn how to express yourself with fluency in everyday situations or in the workplace.
  • Practice in French grammatical concepts, through oral and written exercises and through activities and games.
  • A focus on current affairs and French culture, through the use of press articles and recordings, in order to enrich your vocabulary, improve your comprehension and stimulate discussion.
  • "Mini workshops" at the end of the morning session, in which you can chose to reflect your personal interests or needs : these include revision of verb forms, listening to radio transmissions, exercises to improve your written French, debates, and pronunciation practice.

AFTERNOONS : choice of 2 programmes

The teaching methods are different, but the objective remains the same - to immerse you in the French language and culture. Choose at the time you book your course; the following optional classes run for the whole period of your stay.


In the afternoon, a further 2h15 class comprised of a linguistic theme workshop. In total : 6 hours of structured courses per day and 6 hours of informal practice.

This is the option for those people who want to continue with structured study of French during the afternoons as well as the mornings.

A la carte

A varied programme of excursions and activities to discover the area and to practice French in an informal setting along with a teacher or guest-speaker. 2h15 to 4 hours per activity. In total : 3h 45’ hours of structured courses and 8 hours of informal practice every day.

This option is specifically designed for people who want to practice French in real life situations, whilst at the same time maximising the opportunity to enjoy all that Provence can offer.

"A LA CARTE" : in detail

To both of the above electives, the option "private tuition" can be added in the afternoon.

REMINDER : our courses are not meant for beginners.  Participants need to have acquired a level in French ranging from elementary to advanced according to the CEFR, Common European Framework of Reference. This comes down to level A2 in the process of being acquired to C1, for speaking abilities and understanding skills.  If you have the slightest doubt about your own knowledge of French, please contact us for a test through Skype.
